Red Sox Injures

As I am watching the game this evening, Coco charges the mound and get taken down and abused by Navarro, Iwamura, Gomes and Crawford.  Ellsbury injures his wrist making a outstanding catch.  Manny is pinch run for because he hurt his hamstring.  Lets hope everyone is ok.  We can not afford any additional injuries now.

WVU vs Xavier

This was a hard loss.  No complaints, WVU had a great year and did more than I expected.  Back to basics should be the theme.  If I was Coach Huggins I would make every player shoot 1000 free throws when they get back to Morgantown.  Just as a reminder that simple things win games.  On a much more positive note the team is young only 2 Seniors Darris Nichols and Jamie Smalligan .  So look out next year Alexander is only going to get better and the team should be more accustom to Huggins.

So here is to a great year and a bright future.

Red Sox Opening Day

Well the 1st game is in the books and if this is a prelude to the season my heart is not going to last.  This is also my favorite time to quote stats.  You can quote stats like we have 4 players hitting 400 or better (Pedroia, Ramirez, Lugo and Moss).  Okajima has won every game he has pitched, and Papelbon has saved every game.  The best stat is that the Red Sox’s are undefeated this year.  Also, the Yankee’s have not won a game this yearJ

Now for the real stats.  Dice K struggled early, but did settle down in middle of the 3rd.  I am sure there was a lot of pleasure on home pitching in his home country.  Late fill in rookie Branson Moss had a great game 2 hits 2 RBI’s and homerun.  I was excited Drew this year, but who knows Moss maybe this year’s Ellsbury.

Last but not least.  To all the naysayers Dice K will be alright this year.
